DID YOU KNOW? — Funiculì, Funiculà was inspired by a real railway on Mount Vesuvius? Written in 1880 by Luigi Denza, with lyrics by Peppino Turco, the lively Neapolitan song celebrated the funicular railway that carried visitors up Mount Vesuvius. What began as a song about a modern attraction quickly became an international hit and, more than 140 years later, remains one of the world’s most recognizable Italian melodies.

Stelle Flashback ❤️ We love looking back at photos like this-remembering the dances, the costumes and all the special moments that have shaped Le Stelle Alpine through the years.

And while we cherish where we’ve been, we’re just as proud of where we’re going. New dancers, new memories, same beautiful traditions being passed from one generation to the next.

Here’s to keeping our Italian culture alive… one dance at a time.

Love this trend! Because the “what ifs” can get pretty loud, but what if joining Le Stelle Alpine it’s REALLY fun? And years from now, you realize the practices, performances, trips, tarantellas, laughs and people beside you became some of your favourite memories?

Sometimes the best answer to “what if?” is “Well, what if I do?” 🙌
