Cambrian Players Improv

Cambrian Players Improv Thunder Bay's Favourite Improv Group; Cambrian Players Improv started in 2009 and has grown over the years providing laughter and entertainment to the city.

Cambrian Players Improv Group is a non-profit, volunteer run group for adults that exists to provide the Thunder Bay community with an opportunity to learn about improv theatre. The group meets every Sunday 7-9pm to refine their skills and aims to perform once a month. We are currently closed to drop-ins due to Covid-19. Stay tuned to this page for updates!

Message from Shannon (seen here doing a one-person recreation of Plato and Aristotle)* :

"This coming Sunday, June 28th will be our last improv session until mid-August. To send us off, I thought we could have an evening of favourites! We will play, play, play on Sunday!"

But newcomers are welcome as usual! Here are the usual details:

Sundays, 7 pm at Cambrian Players theatre (818 Spring St.). Any adult is welcome, any skill level! No experience required. Free of charge!

Please note, you will be asked to register with us and sign a code of conduct on your first visit.

To everyone who joined us for our Annual Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation event last night - THANK YOU! We can't make theatre for the love of it without our community and last night you really showed up. Now, to kick off our Season 77 announcements...

We can't wait to bring our audience even more Improv! Our Cambrian Players Improv team is preparing for 8 shows next season - including the return of the Improv Olympics and the addition of A Very Improv Christmas Show in December!
