We were honoured to celebrate Dolly’s extraordinary music when Badanai Theatre joined the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra in 2024 to bring 9 to 5: The Musical to the stage at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium.

Her songs, stories, humour and heart inspired generations and made the world a little brighter along the way.

In eight months, one of the most beloved musicals of all time takes the stage at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium.

Badanai Theatre Company and the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra are coming together for a very special production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music.

And long before the curtain rises, we need to find our Marias, our von Trapps, our nuns, our Captains — and everyone who will help bring this story to life. Audition information is coming soon.

For months, this company has been building Come From Away together, finding the music, the movement, the humour, the heart…and learning exactly where all those chairs need to go. 🪑
