🐾✈️ Happy World Animal Day from the Rock!

When thousands of unexpected passengers landed in Gander, they weren’t the only ones who came from away. Dogs, cats, birds, and plenty of other animals were along for the journey too.

And while the world was focused on the people, Bonnie Harris made sure nobody forgot about the animals.

With help from the community, Bonnie cared for the animals stranded aboard the planes, making sure they had food, water and a little kindness during five extraordinary days.

So today, we’re giving a special shoutout to Bonnie and to all the creatures who also found themselves unexpectedly calling Newfoundland home.

Because in Gander, everyone was welcome.

✈️❤️ WOW. What a way to close out week three.

Another set of flights have landed, filled with incredible audiences who have joined us on the Rock, and somehow, each night continues to feel just as special as the first.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this week for Come From Away. For the laughter, the tears, the standing ovations, the kind words on your way out the door and the stories you continue to share with us afterwards.

Three weeks down. One final week to go. ✈️

The crew gets a few days on the ground, and then we’ll board for the final leg of this incredible journey. If you enjoyed your flight - let your stewards and pilots know on your way out.

✈️❤️ Again! Thank you.

We were incredibly touched to see Come From Away receive another Thumbs Up in today’s weekend edition of The Chronicle-Journal.

It has been such an honour for our company to have the opportunity to tell this remarkable story. But what has made this run truly special has been all of you.

Night after night, you have filled our theatre with laughter, tears, applause and so much warmth. And after the curtain call, you’ve continued to share your kind words, messages and stories with us... including stories from those who have seen Come From Away elsewhere and those experiencing it for the very first time.

We read them. We share them with the actors. And they mean more than you know.

Thank you for embracing this production, supporting our performers and crew, and continuing to show up for live theatre right here in Thunder Bay.

We are incredibly grateful to be on this journey with you. ❤️✈️

Another flight has landed safely on the Rock, and we hope you enjoyed the journey.

There were laughs, a few tears, plenty of music and some pretty wonderful folks along the way.

We hope you enjoyed your flight — that you laughed, maybe shed a tear or two, and left Gander with your heart just a little fuller than when you arrived.

The passengers have disembarked, the crew is resetting, and tomorrow we do it all again.
