My first pair of birch bark earrings!

Some interesting info if anyone is unfamiliar with the process. When someone sees a pair of earrings for $80 for example they might think it’s way too expensive for what it is at face value looking at a photo. 💰🧐

Almost 100% of the time what I charge isn’t equalling minimum wage for the hours I put in. Also the supplies; I actually haven’t made a profit yet because what I have made hasn’t covered the money I’ve spent on supplies. But I do it because I love it anyways. Even if I wasn’t making a dime I’d still bead, it’s not even about that. 🥰

⏰ As for time it takes to receive your order: I work on a first-come-first serve basis so there is almost always a couple ahead that need to be completed first. When you place an order, naturally you’re now the newest order. I also have two very young kids and work 12 hour night shifts three days a week. This is why it takes time. 😌

I put my everything into each piece and sew each bead individually. They are always made with love. ☺️💖
