Lala’s Craft Bowl

Lala’s Craft Bowl **Exciting New Makers Space-Lala’s Craft Bowl- 105 N May St- An all-ages Drop in and Make it Space. Come hang with me, it’ll be hard not to feel crafty 👩‍🎨🥳😜

I am a mostly self-taught crafter, a jack-of-all-trades in the crafting category. Crafting and creating amazing things has always come natural to me. I love learning new skills, and techniques and then taking that knowledge to the next level to make it my own. Sometimes my head gets so full of crafty ideas that I get stalled and can't figure out what to make next. There are just too many options for what to make and then add to that all of the pressure that I put on myself to make it a fabulous Lala original, all of that brought me to a giant wall that I just couldn't figure out how to climb. A while back, around 2019-2020, is when all of that started to build up and cause me to freeze and not be able to craft, robbing me of my joy and my means of expression. Then in 2020, a few friends started asking me to make them things. It was so much fun and they asked for such easy but beautiful things that I felt my joy returning. It made me see that I needed to refocus my crafting vision back to creating for others and helping them to see their creative dreams and visions brought to life. I am always so proud and happy to see their glowing faces when they receive their finished product that they had dreamed up and helped bring to reality. Now I feel like I've been reborn and I know what I want to do with the rest of my life. I want to be the person you can turn to for your handmade needs. The person you can rely on to bring your creative dreams and visions to reality. So believe me when I say:
Creating for YOU, means everything to ME

🎬🍿 HELP US PICK OUR NOVEMBER MOVIE! 🍿🎬

Our next Bling a Thing, PJ & Movie Night is happening Friday, November 13, and we’re trying to decide what movie to watch!

If you haven’t heard about our Bling a Thing nights, here’s the scoop! You show up in your comfiest PJs, bring something from home you’d like to give a little (or a LOT of) sparkle, and settle in for a FUN movie while you bling your thing! ✨ And don’t worry about the munchies — snacks and a FUN punch are included in the price! 🍿🥤

We love choosing movies that tie in with something happening at the time. In September, we watched Practical Magic in anticipation of the new sequel, and October’s movie is The Addams Family because, well… Bling a Thing with Thing! 😂🖐️

Now we need your help!

We’re tossing around a few ideas, but we’d LOVE to hear yours!

What movie would YOU like to watch at our November PJ & Movie Night? 🎥

Drop your suggestions in the comments! 👇 Who knows, your pick might be the one we’re all watching on November 13! 💕
