Thorold Community Activities Group We bring our community together through welcoming places and inclusive programs.

The TCAG is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all Thorold and area residents by coordinating and delivering high quality recreational, cultural and educational programs and community services through committed volunteers and staff serving their community with pride. The TCAG was founded in October 1981 and the Group has grown in many ways ever since. The scope of this growth range fro

m the number and types of activities offered, the number of individuals participating in the programs, and the events held within the City of Thorold for community residents. The motto has continued to be "People serving in, for, and with their community," and thanks to the help and hard work of staff and our many volunteers, the Group has been able to continue providing services to the residents of Thorold.

The TCAG gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Niagara Community Foundation (NCF) - David S. Howes Fund; a public foundation serving the people of Niagara since 2000. NCF connects donors to causes and communities to resources through permanent endowment funds, providing grants to eligible charitable organizations in culture, health, education, environment, recreation and social service sectors. NCF turns intention into impact.

Through the NCF's generous support, we were able to reduce both interior and exterior safety hazards and improve the security of our facility so over 13,000 Niagara residents can safely continue to access over 1,800 affordable and free recreation programs, food security services, childcare, camps, and community space annually. Thank you Niagara Community Foundation!

It's hard to believe today is the last day of our summer camps! We have had an incredible 10 weeks of camp with 170 campers each week, and we're grateful to the Niagara Community Foundation for helping support our subsidy program this summer.
