A week ago we said goodbye to Charlie, our beautiful boy, after almost 17 amazing years. Charlie took a terrible turn last Sunday and on Monday, after a vet appointment and a pain injection with horrible side effects, we made the impossible decision to say goodbye.

After a McDonald’s bacon cheeseburger (no bun) and a couple fries, we sat in our living room while Dr. Tamara from led us through the unimaginable - euthanizing our first family pet, the love of our lives — with so much compassion and respect.

She couldn’t take our pain away, but Dr. Tamara ensured that each one of us knew that Charlie felt only our love and no pain as he left.

We are all so grateful to Dr. Tamara and for enabling us to be with Charlie, at home, in the end.

Charlie Bear, we will love you forever❤️
