Episode two is finally here! 🎉💛
This one is all about WORRY. 💭
You know those “what if…” thoughts that just keep going and going? In this episode of Insights for Littles, we’re talking about what worry feels like, why our brains do it, and some simple, creative ways to help when worry starts getting a little too loud.
Insights for Littles is a fun, calm space for kids and families to explore big feelings through art, play, stories, music, movement and imagination.
I hope you’ll come hang out with me and the Littles! 🎨

A little nervous to share… but I'm excited for you to see this feature with CanvasRebel! 💜

I'm grateful for the opportunity to talk about my experience as an educator, expressive arts therapist, and the heart behind Northern Insights.

Thanks for following along! 😊

We recently connected with Kristy Dyck and have shared our conversation below. Hi Kristy, thanks for joining us today. How did you get your first

✨ I’m so excited to share something I’ve been working on... ✨

Welcome to Insights for Littles 🌈

A YouTube channel for littles and their grownups that to explore emotions, learn coping skills, and express creatively in ways that are fun!

As many of you know, I wear a few different hats in life. I’m an educator, an expressive arts therapist, a mom, and someone who believes that Littles (and their grownups too!) deserve opportunities to learn about their feelings in ways that are safe, supportive, and engaging.

Creating this first episode pushed me wayyyyy outside my comfort zone. There was filming, editing, second-guessing, re-filming, and plenty of wondering whether anyone would actually watch it. 😰 But I’m really proud of what I created. (It’s not perfect; the shots are inconsistent, sound isn’t balanced, and I really need to get a teleprompter!)

The first episode is all about anger and frustration and it’s officially live.

If you have children in your life, work with kids, or know someone who might enjoy it, I’d be sooooo grateful if you’d check it out, share it, or cheer me on from afar.

Thanks for supporting another one of my slightly wild ideas. ✨

And yes... there will be more episodes.

🌈 Feelings are welcome here.
