Looking forward to hosting the August 26 Sip and Draw at Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse Ltd. Bring your sketchpad and enjoy a couple hours of drawing and connecting with other artists.

I always love seeing what come out on the page after some shared time drawing with other people who like to create.

PS - anything you create on your own steam is art - so don’t worry about whether or not you are an “artist”, just come hang out, enjoy a pint or a mocktail with some drawing on the side.

Another Summer Teen Art Lab is done. Today it was all about buttons.

We talked about font size and design, preplanning your work - and just rolling with what inspires you.

And everyone got to experience the joy and heartbreak of working with button makers - they can be finicky!

But we also learned about innovation and reworking designs to get the end result you want. So fun.

First Art Lab session is in the books! 💥

Tonight was zine-making and tomorrow we’re making stickers and pins.

It was a super fun night of music, silent auction and friends in support of the Terrace Skateparks Association. High fives to Highbush Caribou for playing this event. A super fun night of connecting with local artists, the skate community and friends.

Finally got ‘er done! It’s even dry! Let’s go raise some money for the Terrace Skateparks Association! ♥️

🛹 It’s a fundraiser for the Terrace Skateparks Association in support of a proposed new skatepark in Terrace! Whoop whoop!

🖌️ Local artists far and wide have painted some rad skate decks for it. I’d show you my submission but it’s obviously not finished yet.

⏰ Procrastination Nation over here, but wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been painting down to the last minute.

If you don’t have your ticket yet, head down to Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse Ltd. today!

Can’t wait to see what beauty decks end up for grabs.

Oh and Highbush Caribou is playing music - they’re rad. You should come out.
