Good Saturday morning! Things are good at Creamery Square even though it’s a bit spitty out. So far no one has melted. But they have bought tea and veggies and yes, carrot cake. I have no will power. You should try it. Krista’s Country Kitchen is responsible for this irresistible treat I will be eating later today. But hey, you can eat it and then take a walk through the rest of the market and our beautiful gallery!
It’s the last weekend for our landscape quilt show by Catherine Vardy. She will be packing up tomorrow. We have loved having her work displayed here. Stop by before it’s too late.
Artisan Alley is full of the amazing talents of your friends, neighbours and fellow Maritimers. If you are in need of a gift, we are the place to be.
Stop by to say hi and browse. I’ll be here until 4pm today and 12-4pm tomorrow. See you soon.

Welcome to Wednesday! And Mother Nature has decided to give us some gorgeous summer weather today. I feel some serious gardening in my future. I know, I'm late to the dance.
This week at the Grace has been a busy one already. We have been doing auditions for our production of Anne of Green Gables. If you haven't been able to get to a session yet, there is still time on Saturday June 13 starting at 2pm. See the schedule below and bring your kindred spirit to the stage.
It is also the last week to see Catherine Vardy's landscape quilt show, Sensing Place, before it goes away on June 14th. Her work is beautiful. If you haven't seen it yet, make a point to get here before Sunday.
And with one show leaving, another is ready to come in starting June 20th. Cathy Dalton and Jan Boiduk will be presenting their show, Along the Way. Both local artists, with many talents, will bring acrylics, and fabric arts to life on our gallery walls. Their show opening will be on Saturday June 20th from 11am-2pm. Grab a friend and come celebrate the amazing artists in our own backyard.
And finally, Artisan Alley has been changing weekly. New art has been added and some beautiful pieces have been sent to loving homes. Come on by and check out our talented Maritime artists. There is something here for everyone. The perfect place to find the perfect gift.
We are here Wednesday to Friday and Sunday 12-4pm and Saturday 10-4pm. Stop by and say hi. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Welcome to Thursday everyone! And it’s a beauty. We have a theme going in gallery today. Rocks. To be fair they have been here for a while, but I just noticed the abundance of them today.
Tonight we are hosting Off The Rock’s, a tribute band to Great Big Sea. Very big rock theme there. Do you have your tickets yet? If not, shake the rocks out of your pockets and get going! See or call me in the gallery today or go online.
And then there is the art. Our gallery show by Catherine Vardy is based on phrases from Ode to Newfoundland. And almost every piece has rocks in it. In Artisan Alley you will find rocks in Kelly Sanderson’s beautiful felting work and Ron McCormick’s greeting card with the lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove. Massive rocks there. Stay away from the black ones.
So there you have it. Rocks. See them and hear them here today! You know what you need to do.
See you soon!

The job postings for the 2 positions at The Grace and Creamery Square are open for a couple more days. Get your applications in ASAP.
Our drama camp in August is filling up fast. If you are looking for a fun activity for the kids this summer, stop by and fill out the forms or print them off of the website and bring them in.
And last but not least for now, our AGM is taking place on June 23rd. Everyone is welcome. If you have some great ideas or would like to help with other great ideas we would love to have you at the meeting and on the board. There are openings and we would love to fill them with great people from the community looking to get involved. Be part of the happenings you’d like to see at the Grace!
