Margaret Falls Art Walk: A Closer Look at Shuswap Waterways

On September 6, the beloved Margaret Falls trail becomes an open-air gallery as Salmon Arm photographer Lynn Stevens presents her newest collection, The Shuswap Waters.

This free community art walk takes place on the unceded, ancestral territory of the Secwépemc people (Secwépemcúl’ecw), with gratitude for their enduring care of these lands and waters.

Featuring photographs of Shuswap Lake, White Lake, Skimikin Lake, and Mara Lake, captured in natural light without digital color enhancement, this collection highlights the raw energy, serenity, and beauty of our local waterways.

Artworks will be placed along the forest trail to the falls, inviting you to slow down, immerse yourself in nature, and experience the water that inspired the art.

Make a day of it. Before or after your walk, enjoy wine tasting and lakeside views at Sunnybrae Winery (open 11:30–5:30, just minutes away).

Presented by The Outdoor Gallery, a pop-up art experience by Lynn Stevens Fine Art, where art and nature reconnect.

What a great first day!!

It all hit home when I seen this today.
Brought a few tears to my eyes .

I can't believe the amazing open arms and support this town has for its artist and new artists at that.

I missed the deadline to get my event In the free local paper as there's a million things to do to get ready. Oops. Oh well I'll get it next time.
The gentleman went onto my website and pulled the info and my Picture for a spot in the Friday print before the weekend..

I can't thank him and everyone enough.
Werr gonna blow you outta the water!! Hahahahah
