Cole Racing had some flags made up for their fellow Street Stock teams to give away at the BACK TO SCHOOL SPECIAL happening WEDNESDAY, September 16th!

How cool is this? This is what racing is all about — supporting other teams, giving back, and having a little fun along the way. Most importantly, it’s all for the kids who are the future of racing!

We love seeing this kind of support at the track. Great job, Cole Racing 🏁

We made mini flags for all the street stock teams for kiddies day at Bud’s Speedway coming up on the 16th of September. We thought it would be a cool thing to give away to all the kids or fans of the drivers/track as memorabilia. They’re limited to 100 per team. So if you want to grab one make sure you’re at the track for the next race! Some of the guys may even be signing them.

HOBBY STOCK DASH FOR CASH : Wednesday night was a good one!

Weekday racing takes a lot of work from everyone involved, but the crowd that showed up made it worth every minute. The stands were full, the fans were loud, and that’s exactly what we want to see at Bud’s Speedway.

A huge thank you to every team that made the trip on a Wednesday night. Whether you came from down the road or travelled from Marshy Hope, Westville, or even farther, we appreciate you making the trip and putting on a show for the fans.

And to everyone who came through the gates — thank you. Your support of the drivers, teams and the speedway does not go unnoticed.

Our staff put in a long day too. Regular jobs, straight to the track, then back at it Thursday morning. It takes a lot of people behind the scenes to make a race night happen, and we are so lucky to have a great crew.

Of course, none of it happens without our sponsors. Thank you to everyone who continues to back Bud’s Speedway and local racing in Cape Breton.

We’re doing it again on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH for the BACK TO SCHOOL SPECIAL scheduled for 7PM! 🏁

RACE DAY FORMAT: Race four of our 2026 season, the Hobby Stock Dash for Cash, taking place tomorrow, August 12th. The green flag goes in the air for racing at 7pm!
Pit gates will open at 4:45pm, practice begins at 5:30pm with grandstand gates opening at 5pm.

In 2024, we decided to shake things up by adding Wednesday night racing. It didn't take long for it to become a fan favourite, and we're excited to have it back again this year!

💥 Redneck Wreckfest
Saturday, September 26th

Y'all loved this one, and we knew yas would! There was no way Redneck Wreckfest wasn't coming back. Get ready for another night of wrecks, chaos, and the kind of entertainment you ain't gonna find anywhere else.

🏆 5th Annual Caper Memorial
Friday/Saturday, October 16th & 17th

We'll close out our 5th season in operation, with our biggest and most special weekend of the year. The Caper Memorial has become a meaningful part of our schedule, giving families the chance to honour and remember loved ones who shared the same passion for the race track that we do.
