In 2018 the Cape Breton Women’s Gallery grew by three, each woman a pioneer in their respective fields, in business, in entertainment, and in wellness. These women are Eileen Swift Cook, Joella Foulds, and Ruth Boutilier.

We encourage you to stop by the lobby of the New Dawn Centre located at 37 Nepean Street in Sydney, to read about the wonderful things they have done and the achievements they have made that make Cape Breton a vibrant place to live.

Please join us on Tuesday, November 27th in the lobby of the The New Dawn Centre for Social Innovation (37 Nepean Street, Sydney) at 6:00pm for our 2nd Annual Induction ceremony of the Cape Breton Women's Gallery. This year we will be adding three more extraordinary women from our community to sit within the gallery to commemorate them and their achievements for many years to come.
We hope that you may stop by on the evening of November 27th as we unveil and celebrate each of these women, and the many wonderful things they have done to help Cape Breton thrive.
