✨ MEET THE CAST ✨

Maddox Benson is a student at SRHS and will be entering his Grade 12 year this fall. He first discovered his love of theatre playing the Baby Bear in Goldilocks and the Three Bears, followed by the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz and the lead role in Once Upon a Mattress during middle school. Since then, at SRHS, he has played LeFou in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2024), Sam in Boy Meets Girl: A Young Love Story (2024 & 2025), Ren McCormack in Footloose (2025), Alex in Sticky Notes (2025) and its Sussex Theatre Collective remount (2026), and most recently Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde (2026). He has also appeared with the Sussex Theatre Collective in Almost, Maine (2025), Jack and the Giant (2026) as the Moon, and Leaving Iowa (2026).

Maddox is excited to bring Gilbert Blythe to life in Anne of Green Gables before the production heads to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! 👒✨

✨ Favourite line: “You use big words, and I like that.”

Thank you all for joining our first performance of Anne of Green Gables last night!

We’ve received lots of questions about tickets and we will have some available at the door tonight!

Join us at 7:00 PM at St. Paul’s United Church for our production of Anne of Green Gables before it heads to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Tickets are $15 at the door and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

✨ MEET THE CAST ✨

Geneviève Bernier is a graduate of SRHS who has been performing since elementary school, when she first stepped on stage as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Since then, she has appeared in countless productions at SRHS, including Musical Memories (2023), Silly Girl in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2024), Urleen in Footloose (2025), Emma in Sticky Notes (2025), and most recently starred as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (2026). She has also appeared in Sussex Theatre Collective’s Almost, Maine (2025) and Leaving Iowa (2026) as Sis, played Esther-Jane in Saint John Theatre Company’s A Christmas Story, and performed in the ensemble of Elf: The Musical with Saint John Theatre Company and Grease with KV Players.

This summer, Geneviève is excited to bring Diana Barry to life in Anne of Green Gables before the production heads to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! 👒✨

✨ MEET THE CAST ✨

Lora Kwan is a recent graduate of Sussex Regional High School who has been involved in theatre since she was young. Recent credits include the Sussex Theatre Collective’s Almost, Maine (2025), along with SRHS productions of Sticky Notes (2025), A Charlie Brown Christmas (2025), and most recently Pilar in Legally Blonde (2026). Through theatre, she has found a passion for storytelling, built lifelong friendships, and discovered a community she is proud to be part of.

This summer, Lora is excited to play Mrs. Rachel Lynde in Anne of Green Gables! 👒✨

Jaden Armstrong is a student at SRHS and has been involved in theatre productions since 2023. She has appeared in Sussex Middle School’s Once Upon a Mattress Jr. (2023), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2024), and most recently portrayed Kate in Legally Blonde (2026).

This summer, Jaden is excited to be joining the cast of Anne of Green Gables, bringing several memorable characters to life throughout the production, including Mrs. Barry! 👒✨

✨ Favourite line: “Yes, well, I just missed the bed.”

Maude Bell is a student at SRHS and will be entering her Grade 11 year this fall. Since joining the theatre program in Grade 9, she has appeared in every Sussex Regional High School production, including Footloose (2025), Sticky Notes (2025), and most recently Legally Blonde (2026).

This summer, Maude is thrilled to be taking the stage as the spirited Josie Pye in Anne of Green Gables! 👒✨
