Crescent Moon Coffee House Welcomes All .. Coffee House is a non-profit group of volunteers and music enthusiasts. We encourage variety by opening space, supplying sound equipment and technical support for individuals to share their favourite works with all of us, in the manner of their own choosing. Thursday Night - Open Mic Night and Jam Sanford Hall (1367 - 128 Street, Surrey BC) in Kwomais Point Park Sponsored by Crescent Moon Music Association

We are a gentle gathering of musicians and people who love music in an idyllic setting: Sanford Hall. We welcome solos, duos, bands and other and collaborations.

This is a friendly supportive environment where you can try new material, test the waters as a musician, work on your stage presence, learn to collaborate musically with other like-minded people and otherwise have a lot of fun.

You can hear new music and old favourites performed by local musicians in an community setting. This is a great place to meet new people over coffee, tea, with hand-made music. We keep the volume at a comfortable level so you can still hear yourself and others.

Our non-commercial venue (no coffee grinders) holds up to 150. We have a Bose L1® Model II sound system that supports 2-3 performers and occasionally we have drums and bass guitar as well

Donations to $5 help us support the room and bottomless coffee and tea.

Come early! You can help set up tables, chairs, and snacks at 7:00 if you're available. Thank you!

As always, we appreciate your support, $5.00 donation at the door. We need to pay the rent and cover costs for the refreshments. You can become a supporting member. Ask someone at the door for more information about that.

Crescent Moon Coffee House - History Crescent Moon Coffee House a musical get-together we've been doing on Thursday nights for over 40 years. It's a gathering of musicians and music lovers.

The music is family-friendly and ranges from Folk music, Blues, R&B, Rock, Celtic, eclectic, originals and covers.

Performers are beginners to seasoned pros. The format can be a casual song circle, open mic, or a jam session. This may vary from night to night depending on who arrives to play.

We have a terrific sound system: Bose L1® Model II with T1 ToneMatch audio engine. We typically set up our sound system for up to 2-3 vocalists, 1-2 guitars, bass guitar and frequently a drum kit. Previous venues from the most recent: Camp Alexandra (Alexandra House, Crescent Beach) Royal Canadian Legion Crescent Beach Branch 240 Kwomais Park (Yay! We’re back). Camp Alexandra Elks Lodge various other places over the years Average attendance varies up to 50 depending on the season.
