As we get ready to open Studio 9 at Chinook Centre, we’re introducing the talented people who’ll be bringing it to life. Next up: your piercers.

Meet Amanda ✨
Part of the BodyMods family since 2010, Amanda’s journey has taken her from CrossIron Mills to BC and now back home to Calgary to pursue her passion for piercing. With 2.5+ years behind the needle, she loves creating a relaxed, welcoming experience and helping clients find piercings that feel like them. Her favourites? Conches, nostrils and microdermals.

Bonus: ask about her cats Maple and Stormi and you might make a new best friend. 🐈

Meet Jennifer ✨
With 23 years of piercing experience, Jennifer has pretty much seen it all — and somehow still gets excited to pierce an earlobe. 🖤 She’s all about shiny things, creativity, empowering people through body modification and making sure you feel confident knowing you’re in experienced hands.

Meet Loren , joining the Studio 9 by BodyMods team at CF Chinook Centre 🖤

Some artists discover tattooing later in life. Loren knew at just 6 years old that this was what she wanted to do.

After starting in the industry as a shop receptionist and building her portfolio from the ground up, she earned her apprenticeship and has now been tattooing for 8 years. Along the way, she's learned that while creating beautiful tattoos is rewarding, it's the people behind them that make this career truly special.

Whether it's a deeply personal memorial piece or a tattoo that celebrates an inside joke, Loren loves creating artwork that leaves her clients smiling.

Swipe through to see some of her work featuring bold blackwork, clean linework, illustrative designs, and striking custom pieces. While blackwork is her signature, she's always excited to take on colourful projects too.
