As a practice I often do these mini ‘s really great to set a timer and GO! I find this helps me to not sweat the details and really just concentrate on dark and light tones that are the basics of portrait painting. Just so happens my daughter asked for this quick paint sketch and he’s performing today at the SuperBowl

Was instantly interested in this image of as soon as I saw it.. it was taken by NYC photographer it was to become the last photo of Mac Miller and also his last post. I tried to push myself to level up a bit on my work.. I’ve been very fortunate to paint LOTS lately 🎨🙏🏽 I’m happy with my progress and you might have noticed.. I have been painting many hands recently! 🤚🏽🤚🏽 thank you very much to for allowing permission for me to paint his photograph 🙏🏽 a real honor. Thanks everyone for your continued interest in my doodle efforts 🎨🙏🏽
