Master Saleem is a renowned Punjabi Sufi and devotional singer from Punjab, India, known for his powerful voice and deep roots in traditional music. Born into a musical family, he is the son of legendary Sufi singer Ustad Puran Shah Koti, from whom he received his early training in classical and devotional singing. He’s also a disciple of Padmashr Hans Raj Hans.
Master Saleem rose to prominence as a child prodigy and later gained international recognition for his energetic performances in Sufi, Punjabi folk, and devotional music. His soulful renditions and spiritual style have made him a favorite among audiences across India and the Punjabi diaspora worldwide. Over the years, he has performed at major concerts and cultural events, captivating listeners with his powerful vocals and emotionally charged performances.

Kalaam e Ishq 2 will be showcasing Punjabi Folk and Sufi music celebrating the Union of both Eastern and Western Punjab as Sanjha Punjab. The name literally means “Words of Love” and reflects the deep mystical tradition of Sufi Punjabi and Punjabi Folk that talks about love, peace, unity, humanity, and devotion.
The show blends Punjabi Sufi and Folk music from both sides of Punjab:
• Lehnda Punjab (West Punjab – Pakistan)
• Charhda Punjab (East Punjab – India)
The theme is “Sanjha Punjab” — celebrating the shared cultural roots, language, and poetry of Punjab beyond borders.
