We are looking forward to starting our new season in September. We are very excited to announce that our Artistic Director, Ethan Liang, and the Board of Directors are planning TWO concerts

Rehearsals will start on Tuesday, Sept 8th, at 7:30 PM at Cloverdale Canadian Reformed Church in Cloverdale, 17473 60th Ave.
The "In Remembrance" Program (with a common theme of personal sacrifice) will hopefully include a brief wreath Laying with Pipes playing "Amazing Grace" the choir may also sing we don't know yet. Then a mix of contemporary and baroque vocal and orchestral pieces will make up the main body of the program..including a Trumpet Solo "Last Post"
The following is our anticipated repertoire
Gustav Holst -- I vow to thee my country
Johann Sebastian Bach -- Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring
Chorales from St. Matthew Passion
-- Herzliebster Jesu, was hast du verbrochen
-- Erkenne mich, mein Hüter
-- Was mein Gott will, das g’scheh allzeit
-- O Mensch, bewein dein Sünde grob
-- Wie hat dich so geschlagen
-- Bin ich gleich von dir gewichen
-- Befiehl du deine Wege
--Wir setzen uns mit Tränen nieder — Chorus and Orchestra
Stephen Rew -- In Flanders Fields
Charles Gounod: Selections : Messe Solennelle de Sainte-Céc
-- Kyrie — SATB/Tutti and Chorus
-- Sanctus — Tenor and Chorus
-- Benedictus — Soprano and Chorus
-- Domine Salvum — Chorus
Finale -- O Canada 1:42
The orchestra will also perform some additional pieces to be announced.
So we're really excited because all the music is wonderfully melodic and most of it is relatively easy to learn
Right after our November Concert, we will start rehearsals on the ever-popular "Messiah". It should be a busy and rewarding season.
We are looking forward to new and old singers returning for and exciting season.
