Last night we had the honour of presenting the Mountain View and area futures of rodeo scholarship recipients with their awards at the Sundre Pro Rodeo.

🔨 New at the rodeo grounds this year 🪏

We built a new loading chute for our stock, the new design was based off the Calgary Stampede Ranch’s own design using an aggregate filled box rather than a wooden or steel ramp. Providing safe footing for animals loading and unloading from trucks no matter the conditions. Thank you to Justin and Goat Mechanical & Fabrication for the amazing work he did on this project and all the work he does around the grounds as well as Murray McIntyre for donating materials for the project.

And in the Wildhorse Saloon we will be jamming with Dane Von Hagen and Berlyn Broadhead on a brand new stage! Thank you to Dale Erickson Carpentry and Winters Woodworks Inc. for all the work they did to create this stage. And to Sundre Home Hardware Building Center and Josh Hengen for the supplies and everything else they do for us!

They brought their fire trucks out and sprayed down our large grandstand and gave it a good scrub to get it ready for fans who are ready to
