I just returned from a weekend away and wanted to share this wonderful business I stumbled upon with my daughter. Forest Glen Herb Farm is owned and operated by Cynthia Cook who has lovingly created a flower, plant, herb lovers paradise over the last 44 years. For me, it was as if I’d met myself, we share so many similarities in our personal and professional lives. Cynthia has been featured in several magazine, won awards for her business and still finds time to teach workshops, prepare herbs, wreaths and teas. It’s a beautiful experience of stepping into a moment of life that you want to savour for a very long time. If you are in the south western area of Ontario be sure to check out the farm. Thank you again Cynthia for the warmest of welcomes and a return to self.

To the average person it’s just some flowers. For the flower growing who sowed during the long dark, cold winter, transplanted then watered during crazy weather so harvest these beauts is a triumph. Thrilled with the quality so far and another third to go.

Deepest appreciation for all those wonderful souls who found their way to us this season.

Although we only opened for Afternoon Teas in July we were busy and in demand, so apologies to those who couldn't get a reservation.

Next year we hope to extend the season from June - August which is where we originally started. This year was a test case for us and the proof was you still love us and you definitely love our teas and products.

The lavender season is ending and harvest begins but now the colour of the strawflowers, statice and wildflowers really look fabulous.

It’s time! The Sunflower Farm | Ursula Kressibucher has opened ahead of schedule and the colours are magnificent. If you’re hankering for some photo ops and spots to take the family why not pop over for a visit. Lots going on. Happy to promote a fellow flower farmer! Check their website for times and events.

If you are joining us for Afternoon Tea this Friday why not pop over to Sunderland and visit both the cute little trailer for some amazing thrift finds and also Canter Coffee as they celebrate their 3rd anniversary!

Well it's happening! Opening day for the season is just a couple days away...

The little KALM SHOP will be opening this Friday July 31st. Same spot corner of highway 12 and concession 7 (our farmer friends are nice enough to let it pop up in the hay field)
We have switched things up a bit and the trailer will be run on the honour system... unless you catch me there cleaning or restocking ;) there are some items attached to the walls that are not up for grabs but pretty much everything is priced to go... think our story sales but in real, touch it, see it form.

There will also be a free or by donation section outside the trailer, with those proceeds going to the food bank.

We have Lovingly painted, built, fixed, curated and filled the trailer for you and hope you enjoy as much as we do. So stop by Canter Coffee this weekend for their 3rd anniversary event, pick up a drink and slide 1 min north to browse The little KALM shop.

Our lavender season ends as the Sunflowers begin. Why not head up to The Sunflower Farm for another bloom filled visit. Lots going on and always a great place to fill up on colour! Go make a flower farmer happy, she’s just the best!
