Vizhinjam Port is set to launch full export-import operations, shifting from a transshipment hub to a direct gateway for Kerala’s exporters.
The state government will also unveil Mission Samudra, a port-led growth plan connecting logistics, industry, and coastal infrastructure.
Officials say Vizhinjam will anchor new industrial clusters, townships, and private investment, while creating jobs, cutting logistics costs, and boosting export access for key sectors.
