Red Dirt Girl Music Room In 2019 a music venue was built in a home. A wall was removed a stage built. It was known as "The little room with big sound".

Our page is now stories of a little girl that always believed everything was possible. Now at 60 she still believes that 🙏. You can follow my Blog by clicking on the posts on this timeline, or find me at

If you ever saw a show at RDGMR, chances are you've met my manager. She was 4 when we had our last indoor show, she's 8 now. Time waits for no one.
Make the most of your life, take that first step, and then another toward whatever that dream is you think is too big to tackle.
Most of all, pray hard, and don't be afraid to love again 🙏.

I spend a ridiculous amount of time proof reading these things so if you're reading any of these you will no doubt still find a ton of errors 🙃.

I was in grade 6 when Dad decided we were going to be moving back to PEI. I was so excited I couldn’t wait to be living on the farm with my Grandparents. For years he talked about moving back and…

Hey 👋.
It's been awhile since I've written on my blog. I really didn't find it too hard writing about some of the things that happened because chaos was just our normal everyday way of life and when it came to my Mom's childhood I heard those stories told and re-told my entire life, but things changed when I called my Uncle (my Mom's older brother) after I wrote my 4th story. He lives in Slave Lake Alberta and I so wish he lived closer to speak to him face to face rather than just a phone call. I wanted to get more information about how old they were and where they lived when certain things happened because he is the oldest and remembers more than my Mom. I remember listening to him, my Mom, and their other siblings talk about things that happened quite often so I was not expecting the phone call to go the way it did. He started to cry, I made my 84 year old uncle cry. All those conversations over all those years not once did I see any of them cry while they sat around the table having drinks and sharing their memories. Something happens to us as we age. We get softer, we aren't running around raising a family, working crazy hours and trying to hold everything and everyone together so things start to get quiet and it's in the quiet where we remember, we really remember. We spoke for over an hour and what I came away with more than anything was this 84 year old man still misses his Father and the relationship he never got to have with him. How strange life is. We scroll and scroll to land on our birth year when we're filling out an online form but inside we're all still children holding onto trauma.

A new story is coming in the next couple of days.
Tough times are coming with this new war but we've been through tough times before. Good times never last but neither does the bad.

Much love to all of you ❤️
Jeannie xo
