Tonight's knitting companion is Oreo the Destroyer. I can never get enough of his "smile". Has he destroyed lately you ask? Yes...last night he found my Berroco Ultra Wool that I'm using for my beginner class. Nite: he left the super wash wool/nylon alone. Natural or nothing for him.

Can you spot the mistake? Hint: the left side is correct. I really have to stop knitting my piece while teaching it 🤦 75...

I made this Westbourne (Isabel Kraemer) last year and hadn't worn it until today. Sitting knitting a new version (explanation later) and see right center front I increased a stitch....for no reason.

Happy Thanksgiving Canada. We have so much to be thankful for. I'm thankful for friends and family. I'm thankful for finding my love of knitting and the opportunities it has brought me. I'm thankful for the love and support of all my knitting community (plus those closest to me that don't knit but put up with my incessant talking about it).
I hope everyone can take a moment today/tomorrow to reflect on what we are truly thankful for.
For my American and worldwide friends: Canadian Thanksgiving is on Monday; however we often celebrate on Sunday to allow for travel the next day after the tryptophan naps on Sunday.

Yesterday's progress...and today looks similar. Alpine Bloom Toque is off the charts with Autumn vibes. It's ready for the next class. Bea Blouse has 20 more rows and is looking like the perfect Holiday sweater. The Egghead Sock just needs 2 inches of foot then a toe before doing that forethought heel.

Patterns of the day are: Egghead Sock (test knit for Haydn // Fox & Fleece), Bea Blouse and Alpine Bloom Toque for my classes.
