Expressions the Dance Gallery was founded in 1983 in Calgary AB, making the 2021/2022 dance season our 39th successful year training and educating dancers in Alberta! We offer dance classes in; Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Modern, Pointe, Hip Hop, Aerial Dance and more. Classes are available for students of all ages, including adult classes! With sessions beginning all year round, it's never too late to start dancing!

At our second competition of the season, with a competitive team of only 10 dancers, Team EDG hit the stage with confidence, passion, and so much talent—bringing home some incredible overall awards along the way!

Big wins to celebrate! Huge congrats to Summer (Top Solo 12 & Under), Mia (Top Solo 13+), Roxy & Ryann (Top Duet 12 & Under), and Malia & Summer (Top Duet 13+).
Our Jazz groups also crushed it — “Shake Your Groove Thing” (Level 1), “September” (Level 2), and “Starstruck” (Level 4/5) all took Runner-Up top scores! So proud of this team!!

You’ve found it!
Expressions The Dance Gallery offers joyful, age-appropriate dance classes that encourage creativity, confidence, and a love of movement. Our preschool program is the perfect introduction to dance in a positive, supportive environment.
We offer classes starting at age 2.5, along with a variety of styles for older dancers, so there’s something for everyone at EDG.
Classes available for ages 2.5 and up
