In case it hasn’t been apparent, our dancers are learning more than steps and technique and choreography and terms, they are learning perseverance; self love and acceptance; the benefit of hard work and determination; self discipline; how to express themselves; how to be a part of a team; goal setting; gratitude; the value of encouragement; different strategies that work for them; different learning methods; that others can be different and learn differently and still work well with them; oh the list of things could go on and that is why it is more than just dance.

Winners will be announced at the Ontario Folk Music Awards Ceremony on October 16th, 2022 The Aeolian in London, Ontario. Thanks so much for the support Folk Music Ontario and best of luck to this awesome lineup of nominees!

OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION
Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 5 - 9pm
Stratford Agriplex

Entertainment by the Black Forest Band (a popular band that plays at the Oktoberfest celebrations at Concordia in Kitchener), a dance demonstration by dancers from Judy’s School of Dance and . . . beer from Shakespeare Brewing Co.

Come for sausage on a bun, salad, dessert, non-alcoholic beverage and entertainment. Beer will be served at $5 ticket (cash only).

Members and non-members are welcome at $20 per person, and must pre-register to attend. Register online, in office at the Stratford Agriplex or by phone during regular business hours at 519-271-4310.
