AUDITIONS, AUDITIONS! CALLING MEN INTERESTED IN FIDDLER ON THE ROOF!!

Auditions are almost full, but we are still looking for men of all ages (particularly men able to play the age of 18-30) to embody the fathers and sons of Anatevka! There are singing and non-singing roles available. If you are interested in auditioning, please reach out to us at [email protected].

L’chaim, l’chaim! Perth County Players is thrilled to announce upcoming auditions for our fall musical, Fiddler on the Roof. Fiddler on the Roof follows the lives of dairyman Teyve, his family, and the townsfolk of the traditional village of Anatevka. As outside forces threaten Anatevka’s time-honoured ways of life, Tevye’s daughters begin to stray from tradition and follow their own path. Tevye must then ask himself some difficult questions: can he embrace modernity while still upholding tradition? Or will he reject change and throw his familial relationships off balance?

Featuring classic songs like "If I Were a Rich Man", "Matchmaker", and the rousing opening number "Tradition", Perth County Players aims to bring joy, humour, and the sentimental themes of this classic musical to our local stage. We are looking for actors 8 years old and up to fill both large and small roles. Children, teens, adults, and seniors are all welcome.

Auditions are at Stratford Intermediate School, 60 St. Andrews St, Stratford, ON

May 27 6:45pm-9pm

May 29 6:45pm-9pm

May 30 2pm-5pm

👥️ Ages 8 and up (Gr. 3), teens, adults and older adults welcome.

📜 All those auditioning will be provided with lines from the script to read for their audition.

🎵 Please prepare a musical theatre song with sheet music.

🎹 An accompanist will be provided to you at the audition. If this is not possible you may audition with a karaoke track.

It’s finding your kindred spirit in Anne of Green Gables.👒🥕🍷

It’s having faith in something magical in Miracle on 34th Street. 🎅✨️

And it’s learning, in Into the Woods, that love is worth the journey — even through the woods and into the unknown. 🌳🐄
