Backstage is a busy place to be. We often have highlighted backstage footage from our recitals but not our productions. Backstage during production is just as busy as recital, but with so much more added to the mix. Cast members are assigned a team to help with their quick changes, touch-up makeup, put on and take off mic packs, change wigs, cool cast off with fans, hold water bottles, and so much more. There has, at times, been a team of SIX to help just ONE cast member with a quick change. And we've clocked quick changes to be 40 seconds or less. Whether it's running down a hall while changing a cast member so they can enter through a new theatre entrance, or going on stage to do a quick change behind a crowd, we still continue to have fun cheering and dancing from behind the curtain. Our backstage crew has a lot covered, and productions would not be the same without them!
