It.Is.Done.
4 colors
19 skeins of bernat super value
139 days (give or take a few when I had to wait for yarn to come in lol)
304 rows
23,100 c2c blocks
69,300 hdc stitches
Ends galore
Unknown hours (July 16/25 - Dec 1/25)

I started this blanket in June using a 5.0mm hook and it was just getting too big. I was almost to row 140. I frogged the whole thing (no matter what math I did, it showed it would be fine but I knew it wouldn't be) and on July 16/25 started again with a 3.5mm hook and I'm so happy I did. It's still a heavy blanket but it looks more manageable. Finished crocheting on Nov 21/25 and by Dec 1/25 I had finished sewing in the ends (I could only work on the project in my spare time at night after dinner). I can't wait for the recipient to get it. I hope they love it! 🤞

Well...I did a thing. If you saw my recent stories on instagram I shared a c2c graphgan I was working on. I was about 110 rows in (of 304). It's supposed to be a twin size and the way it was going, it would be bigger than a King bed. I just....couldn't. It was getting way too big and would end up so heavy. After much deliberation with myself out loud (& fits of laughter at the insanity and side glances from my husband), I frogged (i.e. rip it, rip it) it alllllll the way down to the itty bitty single block at the bottom. My husband's advice was if it was going to keep bugging me with every stitch it wasn't worth it. The voices in my head would sing "it's getting bigger than you planned". A month to get to row 110 and 5 days to rip it apart. I'm thankful my timeline allowed for me to take such a drastic change. I took the plunge and started.

When it bugs you this much, just calmly start frogging and remember you'll love it more when it's done because the result won't bug you like before.❤️ Onwards and upwards once again!! Just this time with a smaller crochet hook 🤣
