Garden-Family Members, are you ready for the Year of the Garden 2022?

Canada’s Garden-Family is a big one and includes: greenhouse and nursery growers, garden retailers, designers, landscapers, service providers, garden product manufacturers, ornamental horticulture organizations and associations, members of the garden experience sector like public and municipal gardens, horticultural societies and garden clubs, and garden communicators and educators! You’re all invited to help Canadians “Live the Garden Life” during the Year of the Garden 2022, a celebration of everything garden and gardening related.

The Canadian Garden Council proclaimed 2022 as Canada’s Year of the Garden in honour of the Centennial of the ornamental horticulture sector, marked by the 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association.

The Year of the Garden 2022 will officially launch to the public on the first day of spring, March 20, 2022 and Canadians will discover the many ways they can celebrate today’s vibrant garden culture at home, at work, in school, in their community, and at public gardens across the country from spring to fall.

We encourage every member of Canada’s Garden-Family to visit the pre-launch website to learn more about engaging with the public during The Year of the Garden 2022: www.yearofthegarden.ca
