Mark your calendars for SCU's Halloween for Hunger on Saturday, October 31 at the Southeast Event Centre!

Bring a tin for the bin in support of Southeast Helping Hands if you're able, or simply come and enjoy this FREE family event.

The first hour will be specially designed for our sensory-sensitive friends, followed by an afternoon open to everyone featuring costumes, games, candy, face painting, and plenty of Halloween fun!

Food and snacks will be available for purchase at family-friendly prices, and best of all, this is a rain-or-shine event, so we'll be warm and dry indoors.

A huge thank you to SCU for making this wonderful community event possible. We can't wait to celebrate with you! 🧡

IT'S ALWAYS TIME FOR PICKLEBALL AND FALL MEMBERSHIPS ARE HERE!

As our summer memberships wrap up on August 31, we want to thank everyone who helped make our first season such a success!

We're thrilled to be heading into our first full winter season at The Court House Pickleball Club with: ✅ 150+ hours of open court time ✅ Evening and weekend play options
✅ Discounted league and tournament entry ✅ A growing pickleball community for all ages and skill levels

Membership: $90 Drop-In: $10/day
Current walking track members receive 50% off memberships

We listened to your feedback and worked hard to secure more evening and weekend court times. We can't wait to see you back on the courts this fall! Check the calendar on our website for times.

Here we go again folks!!

The Southeast Event Centre Farmer's Market is excited to be back tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25th from 4-7 pm with these amazing local vendors. The harvest is in full swing and you can tell! We have seen our market grow in vendors and in the community stopping by! The parking lot is getting packed and we are SO happy about that!

From veggies, to jewellery, to honey, to fresh baked goods, to the yummiest drinks and more, THANK YOU for helping us bring people together!

One of the most consistently used spaces in the Southeast Event Centre is our Walking Track, and we couldn't be more thrilled to see over 1,100 members already signed up!

What we're seeing is about much more than steps and exercise—it's a growing community. Every day, people are connecting, encouraging one another, and experiencing the positive impact that community can have on both physical and mental health.

We're incredibly grateful to the 16 local businesses that have stepped up to support this initiative. In fact, our Walking Track sponsorship board is officially sold out! What an amazing demonstration of teamwork, community spirit, and a shared commitment to health and wellness in our region.

Think you know what makes the ultimate hot dog? 🌭🌭🌭 Join us on Saturday, September 12th from 4:00-6:30 PM for a delicious community showdown before the Pistons face off against the at 7:00 PM!

Local businesses will dream up their own wild and tasty hot dog creations, and for just $10, you get to sample them and cast your vote for the best one.

The winning creation will earn the title of "The Pistons Dog" and be featured throughout the 2026-2027 season!

Come hungry, bring your friends, and help crown the champion! 🏆

Summer is flying by and the Pistons’ season will be here before we know it and we need to build our team of volunteers for the 2026-2027 hockey season! So NOW is the time for you and all of your friends to sign up!

We have three roles we are looking for a bit more help with: USHERS, TICKET SCANNERS, CROWD CONTROL.

No minimum number of games required.
Shifts start at 2 hours prior to game time.
Fun, community and being part of bringing people together - guaranteed!

Volunteer orientation will take place Wednesday, September 9th.
