Since 2024, Steinbach’s fastest punk band, Paradise on Fire, has been playing shows, writing music and making a name for themselves in the local scene. They released their first single, Dramatic in April of 2025, followed by their debut album in June of the same year. Their first album, Dollar Store Candy features Punk and Alternative rooted music, which was received positively by audiences. The band began working on their second album, The World Outside, amidst playing shows and releasing their first album. The World Outside features a shift to heavier, hardcore inspired music. Major growth and development in the punk scene, mostly from shows at the Sidestage and the West End Cultural Centre pushed Paradise on Fire’s following up. Paradise on Fire consists of Vocalist: Ashley Patenaude, Guitarist: Benjamin Field, Bassist: Anemone Toews and Drummer: Liam Korchoski. The bands music is typically written by Ben and Ashley, with some stylistic input from Anemone and Liam. With a couple music videos on the horizon, not to mention a new album, Paradise on Fire has big plans for 2026.
