From the stable to the studio. I picked up a haul of vintage bridles and reins that still carry the scent of the horses that wore them. It’s a bit grim, a bit beautiful, and exactly the soul I need for my new horse sculptures. A work in progress. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Fr: De l'écurie à l'atelier. J'ai déniché une collection de brides et de rênes qui portent encore l'odeur des chevaux qui les ont utilisées. Même aprés un bin nettoyage, ils portent encore l'odeur et la sueur des chevaux... Un projet en cours. Bon week-end à tous !

Two birds enjoying the sunset together. I've spotted local ravens doing this, gathering to enjoy the moment. Its something I had to capture, if only as a reminder to myself to be "in the moment". Dimensions: 24" x 16".

Fr: Deux oiseaux au coucher de soleil. J'ai remarqué que les corbeaux dans mon coin se rassemblent au quotidien pour savourer ce moment. J'ai voulu immortaliser la scène, ne serait-ce que pour me rappeler de profiter de ces simples moment de beauté.

Good morming everyone! Kept a fire going overnight to cure a few works in progress. So excited with the results. Here is a sneak peak at an assemblage on saw...a little resin sure makes the rusted metal pop!

Fr: Bonjour! Une nuit clémente, avec l'aide du feu, m'a permis de faire coulée la résine sur quelques oeuvres pour faire animer la couleur de son plein éclat!
