🎶🇵🇭The Newfound and Labrador Concert Chorus (NLCC) is deeply honored and grateful to have been invited to be part of the 128th Philippine Independence Day Celebration, organized by the Newfoundland and Labrador Filipino-Canadian Organization Inc. (NL FIL-CAN Org. Inc.), held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at St. John's City Hall, Newfoundland and Labrador.

It was a wonderful privilege to share our music and celebrate this important occasion with the Filipino-Canadian community and all those in attendance. We are sincerely thankful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to perform for such an enthusiastic audience.

We were especially honored to be in the presence of distinguished guests including Deputy Mayor Ron Ellsworth of the City of St. John's, City Councillor Tom Davis, our very own beloved Tita Hazel Ouano, and His Excellency Ambassador Jose Victor Chan-Gonzaga.

Thank you to the NL FIL-CAN Org. Inc., Saharah Coco Sangcopan, Ms. Kath Salvador for including us in this meaningful celebration of Filipino heritage, culture, and independence. We look forward to continuing to build connections through music and community.

Last May 9, 2026, the Newfoundland and Labrador Concert Chorus shared a beautiful Mother’s Day Special Performance filled with music, joy, and heartfelt moments. ❤️

With the Mother’s Day theme “Sound of Celebration,” it was truly heartwarming to once again see the smiles, laughter, and joyful spirit of our beloved residents at the facilities. Seeing everyone come together to celebrate mothers, families, and the gift of music made the day even more meaningful.

Thank you to the wonderful performers, staff, and everyone who helped make this celebration so special. Your kindness and dedication brought comfort and happiness to so many hearts.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers and mother figures in our lives! 🌷🎵
