A little late in sharing, but we couldn’t let this beautiful celebration pass without giving it a special spotlight! 💛

The Newfoundland and Labrador Concert Chorus (NLCC) had the joy of celebrating our wonderful members, Cindy and Mavie, as they prepare to welcome their little bundles of joy. 👶🍼

It was a beautiful gathering filled with love, laughter, fun, and wonderful memories shared with our NLCC family. From the games and smiles to the heartfelt wishes, it was truly a special day celebrating two amazing members and this exciting new chapter in their lives. 💐💕

What a wonderful day of Filipino food, talent, community, and celebration! ❤️💙💛

The Newfoundland & Labrador Concert Chorus (NLCC) was proud to support the NL FILAN Pinoy Fiesta held last August 2 at the St. John’s Farmers Market.

Two of our members of our NLCC members proudly participated as vendors, sharing their delicious food products, pastries, sweets, and homemade treats with the community. 🧁🍰🍪🍬

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by their booths, purchased their products, and showed your love and support. Your support means so much to our members and to the hardworking Filipino entrepreneurs in our community! 🫶🇵🇭

As an organization, NLCC was also happy to show our support by attending the event and purchasing from our members' booths. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, support one another, and celebrate the amazing talents and products within our community. ❤️

🎤 From Contestant to Judge! 👑

We are also incredibly proud of our Assistant Coordinator, Apple, who was invited to serve as one of the judges for the Amateur Singing Contest – Teen Edition! 🎶👏

This invitation was especially meaningful because Apple was the reigning champion and winner of the very first Amateur Singing Contest in 2025. 🏆🎤

Last year, she stood on the stage as a contestant. This year, she returned to the same celebration in a different and inspiring role—as a judge, sharing her experience and appreciation for young talents. ❤️

And of course, Apple also graced the event with her beautiful voice, performing songs for everyone to enjoy! 🎶✨

From contestant to champion, and now to judge and performer—what an incredible journey! We are so proud of you, Apple! 👏❤️

🎶❤️ Father’s Day Celebration Through Music ❤️🎶

Last Saturday, June 20, the Newfoundland and Labrador Concert Chorus had the privilege of bringing music, joy, and heartfelt Father’s Day greetings to residents at local retirement homes.

Seeing the smiles on the faces of the residents, especially the fathers, made our day truly special. Their warmth, enthusiasm, and appreciation reminded us of the power of music to bring people together and create meaningful moments.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our songs and celebrate the fathers who have given so much to their families and communities. Thank you to the staff and residents for welcoming us so warmly and for making our visit a memorable one.

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing fathers! We hope our music brought happiness and cherished memories to your hearts. 🎵💙

A heartfelt thank you to St. Teresa’s Parish for inviting the Newfoundland and Labrador Concert Chorus to be part of your wonderful Multicultural Event held on June 13.

We are honored to have had the opportunity to perform and proudly represent the Philippines through music, culture, and community spirit. Events like these beautifully celebrate the rich diversity that brings us together and strengthens our bonds as one community.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, participants, and everyone who attended and supported this meaningful celebration. We truly enjoyed sharing our Filipino heritage and connecting with people from many different cultures.
