The 20th Victoria Park Lantern Festival will be lighting up St. John's on Saturday, July 30, 2022 (rain date: Sunday, July 31st). Public lantern making workshops will be held at the Pool House in Victoria Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:00 pm until the festival. We're always looking for VOLUNTEERS! ted in helping out. We're also in need of wide-mouthed glass jars (i.e. salsa/nut butter/mason/jam/pickle jars) with or without lids. Washed is always appreciated and we can soak off the labels. Jars can be dropped off to Victoria Park poolhouse weekdays leading up to the festival.

Hope everyone's been having a good summer 2025!

We would like to clear up some slight confusion regarding the festival. We will not be having a festival this summer though we are currently undergoing planning for future events. With that said, we plan to reintroduce community lantern building workshops throughout the month of august in order to breathe some new life back into the festival!

If anyone would be interested in attending potential upcoming lantern workshops down here at Victoria Park, make sure to leave a comment and let us know! We'd love to get a gauge for interest!
