🌟 Lead Performer & Events Manager Needed 🩵❄️

Hi everyone,

I own Dream Parties NL and have portrayed Elsa for over 12 years.

After losing my voice to vocal nodes, I quietly retired from most parties and events and hired a manager who would essentially take over the day-to-day operation of the company.

We have always had one major rule when booking parties: do not book something you yourself are not able to do.

Performers have busy schedules. People get sick. Emergencies happen. Sometimes someone simply can't fulfill a shift, and when that happens, we always need someone capable of stepping in as the backup.

Unfortunately, our manager chose to leave during our peak season, at a time when I was working in film and already had travel commitments. Without that built-in backup, we ended up having to cancel several bookings, events, clubs, and more, some of them quite last minute.

It has been an incredibly difficult season, but it has also made me realize that this business model functions best when the person running it is also a performer.

The reality is that there is a very small pool of people with both the skills and interest required for this type of work. For an employee, missing a shift may simply mean missing a shift. For the person running the company, it means a disappointed child, an upset family, refunds, cancelled events, and damage to a business we've spent years building.

So I'm coming to Facebook hoping I might find the perfect person to take over the blue dress and blonde braid. ❄️💙

I'm looking for someone reliable, confident with children, comfortable performing in character, and a strong vocalist who could become our primary Elsa/Performer and an essential part of Dream Parties going forward.

Additionally, I am hoping to find an Events Manager to assist me with events, as well as plan & execute their own with little supervision.

About two years ago, I made the decision to step back from Dream Parties to focus on my other businesses, NL Bus Tours and especially The Dream Room, which has unintentionally grown into a wedding venue, as well as pursuing my own interests in theatre and film. I’m really excited about where those opportunities are taking me, so rather than stepping back into managing Dream Parties myself, I’m hoping to find the right person who genuinely wants to take the reins.

Dream Parties existed long before I came along, and I hope it continues long after I’ve hung up my crown for good. 👑
It just needs that one special person ready to step into the story and keep the magic alive 🩵✨

Jessica is currently pursuing her degree in French, with dreams of becoming a primary school teacher! 🇫🇷📚 Her love for working with children is at the heart of everything she does, and she loves creating fun, memorable experiences for little ones. 💕✨

Outside of school, Jessica has a passion for singing, dancing, and musical theatre! 🎶💃🎭 You can catch her performing in Seussical: The Musical this November! 🎄✨

Meet our venue rental attendant & specialty events planner✨💗

Isabella brings 3+ years of experience in event planning and coordination, primarily working with corporate events. She’s loved having the opportunity to also plan and coordinate smaller, more intimate celebrations at The Dream Room, where she gets to be part of so many special moments. 🤍✨

She recently started Curated Collective – Wedding & Event Planning with her best friend, Marissa, who also works at The Dream Room! Starting this new adventure together has been such an exciting experience, and Isabella can’t wait to see where it takes them. 💍🪩

Outside of events, Isabella is a Psychology and Sociology student at Memorial University. When she’s not planning the next event, you can usually find her travelling, trying out new coffee shops ☕️, or bopping around with her mom or best friend! ✈️🤎

Social worker during the week, event staff on the weekends. Marissa has over 5+ years experience with event planning and helping to create an unforgettable experience with a a passion for creativity and an eye for the little details. 🎨🖼️

Dream Parties NL is currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable team members to join our team as Princess Performers and Event Support. If you love working with children and creating magical, memorable experiences, this is the perfect role for you. 👑

📅 Availability Required:
• Saturdays & Sundays (primary)
• Occasional weekday availability (as needed)

👑 Princess Performers
• Portray a princess character at parties and events
• Perform at princess visits (off-site) and parties at The Dream Room
• Lead engaging activities such as:
• Sing-alongs
• Princess training
• Dance lessons
• Games
• Nail painting & makeovers
• Bracelet making
• Create a warm, magical, and interactive experience for children
• Maintain character and professionalism throughout the event
🎤 A vocal audition is required (video or in-person)

🎀 Event Support – Children’s Parties
• Prepare and reset the space before and after events
• Welcome and assist guests throughout the party
• Support the overall flow of the event
• Assist and support the performer during the party
👉 This role supports both the performer and the customer

⏱️ Event Details:
• Princess visits are typically 30–60 minutes
• Parties typically run 1.5–2 hours
• Shifts are generally 2.5–3 hours
• Back-to-back bookings are common
• Weekend shifts may extend up to 8 hours

• Reliable and professional
• Comfortable performing (for princess roles)
