MUN Drama Society Presents A Midsummer Night's Dream!

MUN Drama Society's next production will be Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream! Adapted by Jon Jory, Licensed through Stage Partners. This will take place at Long Pond Trail, next to the Fluvarium at Pippy Park. The show dates are on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM and Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Stay tuned for updates on a backup location should the weather not permit an outdoor show.

Tonight! SBTS Alumni Night - The 2010s

Join us as we audio record some stories and memories with SBTS Festival Alumni as part of our Alumni Storytelling and Archive Project.

Tonight is our last event - Monday August 17 from 5pm-7pm for Alumni from shows 2010-2019

Over some pizza and beer (or non-aloholic drink) we will reflect on past productions, browse photos, and share stories together.

If you can make it in person, RSVP kindly requested to [email protected] - please advise of any dietary restrictions or any other way we can make your participate comfortable.

Alumni who are unavailable to attend in person are welcome to send us their memories in a short video or audio clip. Here are some suggestions to include:

- Name, what year you joined the Festival, if you can remember why you joined or what motivated you to get involved (background in theatre, friend/partner was involved, etc.)

- What do you enjoy most about being involved with SBTS?

- Share about a show or a moment from a show that you remember best.

- Share about a venue you remember best.

- Share about what changed for you as a participant in this Festival?

- SBTS has been around for 33 years. 33 years from now, what do you hope to see for the Festival?

Our 34th Festival Season has come to a close!

Thank you to everybody who came out to support the festival, and made "Henry IV-Part I", "The Two Gentlemen of Verona", and "Binja" such a joy to produce! Every audience member, actor, staff member, ticket bought, and donation made continues to strengthen both the festival and the Shakespeare by the Sea community.

With your support this season we continue to ensure that Shakespeare can be for everyone!
