We will miss him. For many years, he was part of the Spirit family. Wayne Constantine carried, lifted, fixed, cleaned, catered, and did whatever he could to help get the show moving in the right direction. If there was decorating to do, a room to set up, a move to make, peeling carrots, any job that needed doing, he was ready to help.
He faced challenges throughout his life, but he never let them define him. What defined him for us was his determination, his loyalty, his pride in helping, and the way he took his role with us so seriously.
We'll miss seeing him walk through the door. We'll miss the swish of his snow pants in the winter, the little dance he did when he was excited, his questions, his stories, and his willingness to jump in whenever he was needed.
The audience never knew his name, but they experienced the results of his work every time the curtain went up.
Thank you, old friend. You helped us more than you'll ever know, and we'll never forget it. https://tinyurl.com/wayneconstantine
