This ship and crew touched the hearts of many of us 50 years ago on Nov 10th 1975. I just had to take my 28 inch hand crafted model of the 729 foot long EDMUND FITZGERALD along side of the water and take a few pictures while listening to some Gordon Lightfoot tunes. Lots of tourist around asking questions, some glad I do research before building a model. If this model can in some small way help keep the memory of those 29 crew members alive, it shall be after doing its job!
