One of the PALs is a guest author at Ochre Fest this summer! Check it out :) Join us Sunday morning to hear Michelle read and talk about her novel. Tickets available at ochrefest.ca

We’re thrilled to have our very own Ochre Fest Coordinator, Michelle T. Clemens, as one of our guest authors on our Sunday morning panel.

📅 Sunday, July 5
🕥 10:30 AM

Michelle’s debut novel "The Girls of Belvedere" tells the story of three sisters sent to a St. John’s orphanage after their mother’s sudden death… a powerful look at resilience and the realities faced by women in 1940s Newfoundland. The novel was recently selected as a Top 3 Local Author Must Read by Newfoundland & Labrador Public Libraries.

An award-winning filmmaker and writer across page, stage, and screen, Michelle has earned Arts and Letters awards in poetry and dramatic script, and her screenplay "Success" has received international recognition.

Join us for a thoughtful and engaging panel discussion.

So grateful to this team who brought our film "You Can Let Me Go" to life. Three days on the coast, long hours, and a lot of care and patience. Not everyone is in this photo, but everyone’s work is in the film.
Thank you... we couldn’t have done it without you.
