We make history, right?

But what happens when there is no archive of all the years we resisted, celebrated, and took up space?

As part of an ongoing archival project between local community members, artists, and researchers, we would like to ask everyone to share pictures of the Pride Parade, Trans March, and any memorabilia with St. John’s Pride.

We're also looking for photos or memorabilia relating to local q***r spaces and groups of yesteryear, such as NGALE and other forces for good on the Avalon peninsula.

The photos may be documented and made available at MUN.

St. John's Pride is a registered non-profit organization comprising of members of the local LGBTQ+ community in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. We celebrate and support the local LGBTQ+ community through our annual Pride festival and hold educational events and fundraisers through the year.
