Bloom Wellness Program is a holistic wellness initiative at The Pottle Centre that supports adults living with mental health challenges through activities that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. Bloom provides a welcoming, supportive environment where individuals can develop healthy coping strategies, improve overall well-being, and foster a greater sense of belonging and resilience.

Join us every second Tuesday for an engaging wellness session designed to help you connect, grow, and thrive in a supportive community. Everyone is welcome—we'd love to see you there!

🎶☀️ Music @ Concert Series Fridays! ☀️🎶

One of our favourite summer traditions is attending the Music @ Concert Series hosted by the City of St. John's! Almost every Friday, our members head to Harbourside Park to enjoy free live performances by talented local musicians in a fun, welcoming atmosphere. The series celebrates a variety of musical styles and showcases both established artists and emerging local talent.

These weekly outings are a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, connect with the community, enjoy great music, and spend quality time together. We look forward to these Fridays all summer long!

Thank you to the City of St. John's for providing such an amazing community event year after year.

Our members had a wonderful time attending the Lieutenant Governor's Annual Garden Party at Government House. This cherished community tradition brought people together for an afternoon of beautiful gardens, live entertainment, refreshments, and great conversation in a welcoming atmosphere. The annual event is free and open to the public, celebrating community, connection, and the rich traditions of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Thank you to Her Honour, the staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this special event such a memorable experience. We always appreciate opportunities to get out into the community, connect with others, and create meaningful memories with our members.

🌳☀️ A Wonderful Afternoon at Party in the Park! ☀️🌳

Our members had a fantastic time attending the Party in the Park in Bowring Park! This annual community event brought together seniors from across the city for an afternoon of live entertainment, light refreshments, giveaways, and great company.

It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, connect with others, and celebrate the importance of community, friendship, and staying active. Thank you to the organizers and volunteers who made this special event possible!

We always love getting out into the community and creating meaningful experiences with our members. 💚

🐾 We're Proud to Partner with St. John Ambulance Pet Therapy!

At The Pottle Centre, we know that wellness comes in many forms—and sometimes it has four paws! ❤️

We're grateful to partner with St. John Ambulance Pet Therapy, whose certified therapy dogs bring comfort, companionship, and plenty of smiles to our members. These special visits help reduce stress, ease anxiety, encourage social connection, and brighten everyone's day.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteer Brittany, and her amazing therapy dog, Tracker, for sharing their time, compassion, and unconditional love with our centre. We always look forward to your visits! 🐶💙

August is here, and we have another month full of fun, connection, and wellness activities at The Pottle Centre!

Please take a look at our August calendar attached and join us for any activities that interest you.

A few reminders:

- We will be closed for the Royal St. John's Regatta on Wednesday, August 5 (or Thursday, August 6 if the Regatta is postponed due to weather).

- On Wednesday, August 19, the Centre will open at 2:00 p.m.
