Happy December- The season for slowing down & reflecting ✨

Totally going the opposite direction this year, cos its my last month of mat. leave. Will definitely spend a lot of time reflecting and setting intentions and re-focusing for 2022. ✨

Journaling and reflecting made more fun and fancy with

This ink from storied blue from their latest collection & it just makes you want to tell a story. So here it goes!

The past 2 months have been a whirlwind of events to say the least. We are a military family posted to a new base. We bought a house in another province, movers packed our whole house, got the old house ready for rental, said see you later to our friends turned family, drove halfway across the country and took possession of our acreage home 2 weeks ago and unpacked all our belongings again. We are settling nicely (also getting ready to hibernate LOL) and we are very close to our support system which makes all of this worth it. 💕

If you notice ive been MIA, its because of this. ☺️ I am posting this from our new home in Manitoba.

But a huge thank you to the wonderful ladies of for encouraging me to still carve time for art and for myself! 💕

Hello August!!!!! Oh myy, how are we in August already? 😬 Its going to be a hectic and busy month!

I've been loving these minimal art post cos that means i still get to carve some time doing what brings joy and peace during this busy time! ❤️

I am using my A5 sketchbook from and Dusk in Bloom ink from my charger set (5ml). Perfect travel buddies!

✨ Twilight Garden Collection | Ink Charger Set ✨

Guys, it been a while since I've used my pointed pen. First time using it with Ink Charger set, it brought back alot of good memories and feelings. I am so inlove with the twilight garden charger ink set -the vibrant colour pallete and ofcourse, the details of their packaging!

So far, my favorite is the Edwards Gardens!!! This colour set is absolutely inspiring and magical!!!! I would definitely buy this one for myself or for a friend!! 😉

Nap time.

Nap times are sacred. Nap times are my real life ticking time bomb. Lately, our baby's sleep pattern is more regular and predictable which means I get to do whatever. I mean either I do something for myself, catch-up on chores or rest.

I make the toughest decision during nap time guys! Who can relate? 🙋‍♀️ But the other day, I chose calligraphy. I chose to practice my flourishing. I love every second of it. The old me feels so alive!!💕

I really love lettering on unique surfaces. Its challenging and very fun! So when I found out that this was part of program, I didnt want to miss out on that course! I've learned a lot of tips and tricks to make it more enjoyable! So for this challenge I decided to DIY my baby's growth chart. I looove the finished product! did you see my reel video of making this project? 🙈

Happy Saturday y'all! Its the perfect day to stay in (atleast where I live).

Spending the last weekend of my hubby's parental leave at home. 35 weeks flew by and we didn't waste the time given to us. ❤️ So brb while I soak in the last couple of days while I have daddy day care.

We are so lucky, blessed and grateful to have this much time for maternity and parental leave. 🤯🥰
