LOVELY PEOPLE! I know I’ve been MIA the past few months. Between children getting sick, family members being born, more family visiting, getting pneumonia, & the Christmas season, I’ve been distracted and uninspired. I also have a knee-jerk reaction/rebellion against social media telling me I had to up my holiday production for people’s consumption. (Ex. “The holidays are here! Be sure you make enough stocking stuffers to sell & go to enough markets & spend every moment making things for other people & . . . !” My response: “Heck no! I’m going off the grid. Uh, see ya!” Lol. I’m a child.) I have a hard hike finding what to balance and how to balance it, so sometimes I just back up and give it all space to breathe. I spent time with my kids making Christmas crafts & baking, resting, working my job, making very few commitments & enjoyed not feeling too run down (besides the pneumonia for six weeks).
It was nice, and now I’m back & inspired!
Not only that, but I have my pieces in a local space!!! You guys, I am so excited to be a part of a new shop opening in Squamish called Junction137 . It has several artists from around town, talents ranging from paintings, woodworking, vintage clothing, handmade reusable containers, and more! It’s a fun, eclectic mix and I’m excited to be a part of it.
Don’t worry; I still have my Etsy shop open as well!
Thanks for sticking around. Looking forward to making more knots & sharing with you fine folk!
