I just completed this Bee eater bird in pan pastel and faber Castell it’s a tutorial from Kirsty Rebecca’s fine art I wanted to learn more about the underlaying process and working with pastels, I really enjoyed this one!

I just finished this portrait of a cocker spaniel in Faber Castell and pan pastels on Pastelmat paper. Pan pastels create such a beautiful undertone and the final artwork gets a painterly look to it. I have a little tweaking left on this but overall I’m happy with how he turned out!Stacey Rogers Art
