The South Shuswap is ready to welcome you with open arms for one of the biggest and most anticipated celebrations of the summer!
The festivities begin with the incredible Car Show and Car Parade, proudly led by Shuswap Cars & Coffee, featuring an amazing collection of classic, custom, and specialty vehicles before leading our Canada Day Parade through the community.
Our annual Canada Day Parade once again brings together the continued support of the Shuswap Fire Department, government officials, local businesses, non-profit organizations, community groups, families, and volunteers—all proudly celebrating what it means to be Canadian.
This year, Shuswap Marina returns as the Parade Marshal.

🏆 Who will take home the Best Float Trophy this year? Last year's winner was the South Shuswap First Responders Association, and we can't wait to see the creativity, community spirit, and Canadian pride on display as everyone competes for this year's top honour!
🪑 Bring your lawn chair or your favourite blanket, find the perfect viewing spot along the parade route, and get ready for something truly special!
From incredible vehicles and beautifully decorated floats to music, community spirit, smiling faces, and a whole lot of Canadian pride, this is a celebration you won't want to miss.
🚧 A friendly reminder to everyone attending the parade: Please be mindful of road closures before and during the event. We kindly ask for your patience, respect, and cooperation as our volunteers, first responders, and traffic control teams work hard to keep everyone safe.
Safety comes first! Please follow all directions from traffic personnel and enjoy the celebration responsibly.
🇨🇦 The Canada Day Parade begins promptly at 10:00 AM.We recommend arriving early to find a great viewing spot.
