As temperatures soar this week, I just wanted to let you know our concert area is in shade by 7 and by 7:30 the sun has dipped below the mountain. Sarah has been baking pies and the Rosy Maple will be set up with cold drinks and coffee.

Hello friends! It's been a busy winter and spring over here in KSPO-land. We've been hard at work on an exciting project! We've been picking out music, arranging, rehearsing, and doing all sorts of admin planning and legwork because this summer we're .......
....... GOING ON TOUR!!

We're beyond thrilled to announce that we'll be touring the BC Interior at the end of July and the beginning of August! We've got dates booked in the Okanagan, East Kootenays and West Kootenays.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Kitchen Sink Pocket Orchestra is coming back to the Music at the Maples Venue in White Lake. Comprised of principal players of the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, the KSPO is a mixed string and wind quartet designed to introduce orchestral instruments in accessible and non-traditional settings. KSPO’s diverse repertoire appeals to audiences of all ages and includes arrangements of much-loved orchestral works, mashups of traditional folk and fiddle favourites alongside recognizable tunes from more contemporary artists including Queen, Simon and Garfunkel and Metallica. There is something for everyone on this program – that includes everything and the Kitchen Sink! July 29, 7:00 pm. Message for tickets. $30. Stay tuned for info on possible Food truck or Desserts. If you come by the market and see an empty tent, that is hers and she is likely off buying things from the other vendors. This Saturday, however, you will find her trusty side kick, Kerry Aylard sitting in the Manager tent and she will be in the Musician tent playing fiddle tunes for her supper.
