Working on a psychedelic Lucigoat tattoo concept 🐐🔥 for a client. This is a first rough draft!

This one started from a client's tattoo request, and I'm currently working through the idea in Procreate.

It's definitely not the final design yet. I'll probably redraw this 4 or 5 more times before I'm ready to send a finished draft to the client for review.

One of the biggest things I'm focused on as an apprentice is developing my own style. I'm really enjoying pushing toward a mix of traditional and neo-traditional tattooing — bold linework, strong shapes, exaggerated imagery and high-contrast designs.

The more I draw, the more I learn. The more I redraw, the better I understand what actually works as a tattoo versus what simply looks good on a screen.

Lots more work to go on this one, but I'm liking where it's headed. 🖤

Tiger shark tattoo on real skin — my 2nd ever tattoo as a tattoo apprentice at SacreDesign Ink. 🦈

Finishing the colour on this traditional-style tiger shark tattoo and seeing the design finally come together on real skin.

I practiced the design on fake skin first, then brought it to the client as part of my tattoo apprenticeship.

I'm currently apprenticing at Sacredesign Ink in Colwood, BC, and every tattoo is another opportunity to learn, improve my technique and build my skills.

This is only tattoo #2 on real skin. Lots more to learn, but I'm putting in the work. 🤘

🍊🌿 Finished Coloring In My Original “Citrique” Bud Monster Gangja-Inspired Tattoo Flash

Bringing one of my all-original characters to life! 🍊🌿

This is “Citrique”, my take on the strain drawn in my original Bud Monster style, hand drawn in my bold neo-traditional style and colored with alcohol markers. I wanted this one to have that wild citrus-meets-cannabis energy while keeping the classic monster, floral and flame elements.

No Artificial Intelligence. Just Apprentice Intelligence ROFL 😆 🤣 😂 *nyuk nyuk dad joke*

Yo social media fam friends and followers! Been a minute as life duties have called. Anyways here's a quick shading video I made using my new alcohol marker set and lining manga pen set. Drawing on paper feels like turbo speed after tattooing daily for so long lol!

I made an all original "BUD MONSTER" I designed from the old school green goblin face + a neo traditional take on a bud!

Im working on developing my own style as I focus in on what type of a tattoo artist I want to be! Neo traditional and traditional big bold lined beautiful tattoos seem to be calling me!

Ps I will push to learn all the different styles as an apprentice but those seem to be calling me the most!

First Time Shading Michael Myers 🎃 Tattoo Apprentice Practice on ReelSkin | Halloween Tattoo

Halloween came early in the studio.
In this practice session, I'm tattooing the iconic Michael Myers mask from the Halloween films on ReelSkin, marking my second time practicing black and grey shading as a tattoo apprentice. This project focuses on creating smooth gradients, deep contrast, and realistic shadows while improving machine control and confidence.
Using this legendary horror icon as my subject, I'm developing the fundamentals of black and grey tattooing—building depth, refining blends, and learning how to make each pass smoother than the last.

Finally got my Grey shading inks in from Empire Inks! Heres a timelapse of an eternal heart that I tried my new shading inks on. FYI They are giving away FREE grey wash kits to all confirmed apprentices!
