I love using Liquitex Gloss Medium for varnishing and mixed media pieces. However, I encountered a weird phenomenon that’s never happened to me before where a section of my painting wouldn’t varnish. I went over it 1/2 a dozen times and the area remained flat. I’m thinking an odd chemical reaction occurred? Modge Podge Gloss to the rescue! This fixed it and now the whole piece is glossy! Sometimes you have to think of creative solutions!
