Happy Father's Day!

Today, we honour the dads, grandpas, and father figures who show up, the providers, the protectors, the ones who pass down stories and keep the fire going.

Whether you're gathering with family here at Métis Crossing today or celebrating wherever you are, we hope this day is filled with good food, open skies, and the people who matter most.

From all of us at Métis Crossing, happy Father's Day. 🌿

Here's one of our favourite father and son photos, captured a few winters ago right here at Métis Crossing.

We're honoured to be featured in Food and Travel México's story on Indigenous tourism in Alberta. 🌿

Writer Arturo Torres Landa visited Métis Crossing and shared the depth of what guests experience here, from exploring the historic Cromarty and Sinclair family homes to paddling traditional canoes, sleeping under the stars in our Sky Watching Domes, and encountering white bison on the Visions, Hopes and Dreams Wildlife Tour with Shirley Pallister.

For the Métis, white bison are messengers of unity, resilience, and connection to the land. That spirit lives in everything we do here.

Some places offer an experience. Métis Crossing offers something you can't find anywhere else.

We're situated on historical Métis river lots, land with generations of stories woven into it. Our cultural team shares those stories, connecting guests to the families who lived here and the traditions that were carried forward.

The authenticity isn't just something you feel; it's something you can verify. Métis Crossing holds original accreditation through the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada, recognizing us as an Indigenous-owned and -operated destination.

Slowing down. Listening to the land. Reconnecting to something real.
